  Rev Palmer preached a great Thanksgiving sermon here in 1860. I have read it & it is beautiful. He would be glad that he died before he saw Sodom taking over his church.

  I was looking for a Church to call home. I grew up in a Presbyterian Church in New York. I tried the Presbyterian Church on St. Charles but it did not feel right. I literally cried the first time I walked in and saw the place. It is beautiful, historic and everyone there is so friendly. My first service I was hugged by most of the congregation. It caught me off guard, but now I walk around and give a warm welcome to everyone there. I was honored to have Reverend Fred marry my husband and me. I am so happy to be a part of the congregation. It is friendly, non judgmental, you leave feeling good about yourself and they always have a pot of coffee on!
