  • Not necessarily rating the service but more so how the church looked from the outside. It's a really cool picture and something neat to see. After being in Europe/Italy for 3 months you can really see the influence from that culture in the French Quarter and really in this church. It's something cool to see.

  • Beautiful Cathedral with amazing stained glass, murals and a real "old school" Catholic Church feel. Even if you're not religious (like myself) this is definitely a place that you should visit.

  • The pure history of the Cathedral is so exciting. To know both famous and infamous people of history walked around, and in that same building throughout the history of the United States. Consider, Jean Lafitte the pirate, or John Wilkes Booth who preformed at the opera house during the civil war. Or how about President Andrew Jackson who gathered the local people to fight the British. Maybe Voodoo is your thing, walk the same street as Marie Laveau the Voodoo Queen. Be sure to walk down "Pirate's Alley" late at night and hear the haunting screams of the many victims who were robbed and beaten, or killed...........Long ago in the pirate days, it was known to be dangerous at night.......pretty safe now, but always go in groups when in the Quarters at night. BTW the "Original Vampires" may be in the bell towers.

  • The Cathedral Basilica of St Louis King of France is the most iconic landmark of all the French Quarter! The city's center of worship for over 280 years, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis remains the oldest active Cathedral in the United States It is a very well kept historical landmark! The art work within its walls... impeccable. Stop by any given day and watch a litany of street performers rustling up the change from spectator pockets! Art vendors selling their art and wares outside in front of the square where the Cathedral stands! There you will find iconic restaurants and cafe's, also known as respectable icons of New Orlean's French Quarter! For the city square... the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Louis is the head of that square! At night you will find ghost tours talking about the mystery of this building... its worth a drop of a peek! Go check it out!!!
