  One of the absolutely most beautiful churches I've ever been to. I went with family not knowing what to expect and I was blown away at how intricate and beautiful this church is on the inside.

  I am a limousine driver. This is a favorite of brides who want a church wedding. It is historic, beautiful and in good condition. Anne Rice (author of,"Interview with a vampire"was married here. The movie,"The Librarian" used this church for some scenes. A National Landmark and a Catholic Shrine for Blessed Father Seelos who volunteered to go to help in New Orleans from Bavaria during an epidemic and caught the disease and died of it.

  This is where we celebrated our nuptials. The church has so much beauty and history. We were quite honored to be married in such a beautiful church.

  Visited the shrine for father Seelos next to the church. Hope to celebrate the passion on good Friday 2016.
